After reading about the Midtown Toasty on MidtownLunch, I decided I had to finally stop by Tri-Tip Grill to give it a try.

I asked if they had any hot sauce, and they said they did have a chipotle sauce, so I had them throw it on the side.  The sauce, which was more like a chipotle relish, was a delicious add on to the sandwich.  Will definitely ask for it again.

The positives:

  • $3.99 is a decent price for a gourmet breakfast sandwich
  • Ingredients are good quality, much better than your average deli
  • Chipotle spread took it to the next level

Negatives:

  • Sandwich came in a container that was not breathable, bottom slice of bread got very soggy as a result.

Overall: Definitely worth it if you find yourself near the concourse of 30rock at breakfast time.
